CEBU CITY, Philippines — Global tech care company Asurion has officially opened its newest customer solutions center in Cebu City on May 7, 2026. This signifies a major expansion of its operations in the Philippines and creating approximately 2,000 jobs over the next two years.

Located at the Faustina Center in the Bonifacio District, the new Asurion facility spans six floors and will support the company’s growing global customer base through customer care, technical support, IT, operations, training, and other business services.

The launch event began with the arrival of guests at 7:00 AM and was hosted by Cebuano pride and Miss Earth 2008, Karla Paula Henry, adding a local touch to the celebration of Asurion’s newest expansion in Cebu.

A press conference was held on the 12th floor of the Faustina Center, followed by the inauguration, blessing ceremony at the building’s 15th floor at 9:00 AM.

The event was attended by company executives, members of the Cebu business community, media representatives, and government officials, including Vice-Mayor Tomas Osmeña, widely recognized as one of the pioneers of Cebu’s BPO industry growth.

The Cebu expansion marks Asurion’s sixth site in the Philippines, joining existing facilities in Santa Rosa, Iloilo, Clark, Calamba City, and Bonifacio Global City. Across these locations, the company already employs more than 7,000 people nationwide.
